Trip Overview

This is designed for individuals or groups with lesser time to spend and yet wanting a fair share of Bhutan. Often our guests doing this combines their holiday with neighboring countries like Nepal, India and Tibet, for which we are happy to help arrange with our partners there. Whether it’s enjoying a gentle country stroll, or the breathtaking landscape and the monumental fortresses, the living culture of the people in their traditional costumes or the enchanting folklore and history – the package ushers the guest to experience the main attractions of western Bhutan and will leave you with an indelible feeling of mysticism and contemplation.

Outline Iteinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Paro airport.

  • Drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Explore the city in the evening.

Day 2: Thimphu

  • Sightseeing in Thimphu visiting popular tourist attractions.

Day 3: Thimphu

  • Visit Tango monastery in the morning with a short hike.
  • Drive to Punakha via Dochula pass after lunch. Enjoy spectacular views of the Himalayan ranges and the Druk Wangyal Chortens (stupas). Explore Punakha town in the evening. Option of camping next to the river.

Day 4: Punakha

  • Visit the most beautiful Dzong Punakha Dzong and the temple of the Divine Madman, Chhimi Lhakhang.
  • Drive to Paro after lunch through Wangdue town.

Day 5: Paro

  • Whole day sightseeing in Paro and Hhike up to Tiger’s Nest
  • Visit the National Museum in the afternoon.

Day 6: Departure from Paro.

Price Details

The Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB), Tourism Business regulating agency of the Royal Government of Bhutan, fixes the Tourist Tariff rate. This rate is valid for all the inclusive tour packages. The tariffs for tourists visiting in a group of 3 persons or more are as follows:

Peak Season Rate: (March, April, May, September, October and November) Cultural Tour /Trekking – US$ 250/per person per night halt.

Low Season Rate:(January, February, June, July, August and December) Cultural Tour /Trekking- US$ 200/per person per night halt.

Price Inclusions

  • Bhutan Royalty ($65 per person per day).
  • Visa Fees ($40 per person).
  • All necessary permit fees.
  • All transfers and sightseeing with entrance fees.
